The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development | Confined Water Dives | Open Water Dives

• The Knowledge Development part teaches you the basic principles and rules of scuba diving.
• During the Confined Water Dives you will learn & practice the basic scuba skills.
• Open Water Dives give you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and explore the underwater world!

The whole course will take you around 3 to 4 days from start to finish if you do it all at Calypso.

That includes all the Knowledge Development, 5 Confined Water dives & 4 Open Water Dives

PADI e-Learning (advance learning at home with PADI On or offline) would save you around 10 hours of time to spend on the beach

With the eLearning option where you have done the PADI Knowledge Reviews and Exams in advance, the in water training and ocean boat dives can be done in two days only.

The course includes 5 knowledge sections, 2 all morning pool sessions to practice diving skills, then 4 boat dives in the sea with your instructor to hone skills and have fun.

Upon completion you earn your PADI license card, allowing you to dive to 18m with a qualified buddy (12m with a parent, guardian or PADI professional for 10 and 11 year old Junior Open Water Divers).
